Hello.  My name is Robert Bruce, and I am a computer programmer and an avid photographer.

More specifically, I am an accomplished senior-level Software Engineer with over 35 years of professional, successful software design and development experience, specializing in .NET-based application, web, and mobile development (Android, iOS), as well as SQL Server development.

My career was ignited Christmas of 1982.  I was in 8th grade.  I opened my last present, expecting an Atari 2600.  I was disappointed when I saw a "TRS-80 Color Computer."  My father, who was a COBOL programmer, said "Not only can this play games, but you can also create your own games."   It was at that moment I knew I wanted to be a computer programmer and I've been developing virtually every day since!

In 1992, I obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from Missouri State University.

My employment history includes working in industries such as Finance (Cygnus Capital), Insurance (American National, USA Systems Group), Retail (Eckerd), Health (Lincare, Lifestyle Family Fitness), Telecommunications (Elcotel), Default Services, and Education (Missouri State University).

I was the developer behind the successful and popular data security application SecureShred™, released in 1998, which received many accolades, including a 5-star rating by Ziff Davis (PC Magazine publishers).

Currently, I provide software consulting and development contracting services for a law firm in Phoenix, Arizona.

Prior, I was the President of Cygnus Capital Management Group, LLC, a private equity fund management services company which I co-founded and managed.  We traded securities for our investors utilizing our proprietary Artificial Intelligence-based equity trading software.

When I am not coding for fun or profit, I like to spend my time running, hiking, reading, playing chess, taking pictures, or spending time with my girls--my wife, Dr. Tiffany, daughters Trinity (18.1 yrs), and Lauren (15.8 yrs).   We currently reside in the Phoenix, Arizona area.
